The response from this year’s CreateAthon has been incredible. I knew this program was special; I’ve seen the numbers. In its 14 years of life, more than 75 agencies in North America and Puerto Rico have participated, more than 1,200 nonprofit organizations have been helped, and over 2,750 projects valued in excess of $12 million have been created. I’ve read that sentence over and over, but somehow it did not click until yesterday, a week after National CreateAthon Week ended and I sat down to look at the results for the very first time.

I have been blessed in being given the opportunity to take charge of CreateAthon on a national level. What this organization has taught me is priceless. I know that term is thrown around a lot these days, but that really is the only way to describe CreateAthon. Take a couple minutes of your time to watch this video that showcases this event, and I’m sure you will agree with me, CreateAthon is priceless.
