10th Annual CreatonAthon

  • Written by Monique Moffit, The Sales Factory

I wanted to take this opportunity to talk about the CreateAthon that the Sales Factory just participated in. In the words of our President Ged King “CreateAthon is our 24-hour creative blitz during which we provide North Carolina non-profits marketing services on a pro bono basis. And we don’t do this work alone. Since the program’s creation by our friends at Riggs Partners in South Carolina, 72 other agencies have participated in the CreateAthon network around the U.S., holding events in their respective markets. It’s an effort that has impacted more than 1,100 non-profit organizations, delivering 2,500 projects valued at more than $11 million.”

This was my first CreateAthon as I have been part of The Sales Factory for only three months. I could not be happier about being part of this event. I am so grateful for this opportunity because it let me meet wonderful people such as Pam and Ryane. Two ladies devoted to help Ethiopian women through their foundation “Connected In Hope”. I always say that working in The Sales Factory is an ongoing learning experience. The CreateAthon was no different. The only difference was that instead of learning about marketing I learned from others how to be a better person.
